Drain-Away Inc. began business in 1996 as a result of realizing that Basement Waterproofing; especially with a "System" of any type is a rip-off to the homeowner! Home-wet-basement-waterproofing does NOT address the true problems or the source of the water! Poor Roof Drainage & Rainfall are the source of the home-water-problems. We look OUTSIDE first! place !
What is your primary product or service?
Drain-Away Inc's primary business is residential water problems! We sell Roof Drainage with pipes flowing a minimum 25 feet from the foundation to Exterior Ground Drainage & street drainage. We specialize in all types of yard drains, catch basins, french & trench drains as well as aquaducts to keep water from entering your living space. We identify the source of any water problem first then provide the needed solution. Why would anyone allow water to come inside so it can be re routed back out without finding the source of the probl;em first. Call Drain-Away today "first" to discuss your problem! We've saved thousands for homeowners since 1996!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The original interest to form Drain-Away Inc. was a result of a Basement Waterproofing background. It was found that those services were extremely un-neccessary in most cases so we formed a service to find the source of water, which should be stopped outside first, Or...Drained Away! We address problems in phases, Only as a last resort do we go inside! This saves the customer money.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in finding the source of water problems in & around the outside of homes first! Before we ever have a need to look inside, All outside sources of the problem is addressed. Any waterproofing company that doesn't address all outside issues from roof water first; are not providing proper services! Waterproofing should not allow water penetration into the living space.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have an office for accounting only. We help people where the problems are. We are a mobile company with services available in Ohio, Indiana & Kentucky at present. Future plans to Franchise Drain-Away Inc. Nationwide are complete.
